José Gabriel Condorcanqui Noguera,conocido posteriormente como Túpac Amaru II, fue un caudillo indígena y líder de la «Gran rebelión» contra la colonia española que se dio en Hispanoamérica y se inició el 4 de noviembre de 1780, nueve años antes de la Revolución francesa. Esta rebelión se desarrolló en el Virreinato del Perú y el Virreinato del Río de la Plata pertenecientes al Reino de España.
